A couple of weeks ago I gathered with a wonderful group of women in Jackson, MS at the Dickies Building for a Fall Floral Workshop. Several of the women were quite experienced with flowers and others were designing for the first time. We began the morning with coffee and prepared our vessels for the flowers, and then we dove right in arranging one step at a time. It was a delight to see the arrangements come to life, and each of the ladies left with their very own masterpiece!
Ashley Upchurch, an incredibly talented film photographer and wonderful friend, was there to capture a few glimpses of the creative process!
Some of the flowers that were used: Kahala roses, spray roses, bronze amaranthus, gomphrena, and chocolate Queen Anne's lace.
